After dinner, continue your tour of everything Kansas City has to offer as we reload the buses and go to KCLive!. Buses will run from KCLive! back to the Hyatt every 30 minutes until 10:30pm.

Websites like TripAdvisor have changed how potential visitors gather information about destinations and decide where to go
on vacation. This session will focus on how destinations can take advantage of user generated content to improve the content of their
websites, using Destination 3000 to capture, manage and display peer reviews on your web site.

SMI Staff will be on hand to answer any training questions you may have on Convention Sales and Services, including Lead Management on the Destination 3000 Web Solutions Member Extranet.

During this first Show and Tell session we will invite CVB attendees to show other CVB attendees the features and functionality that have been customized in their systems, that they think would be of interest to others. CVBs can also network regarding how they use Destination 3000 and the various modules and reporting capabilities. A couple weeks before the conference, we will invite attendees to register to present during this session.

Presenters: Misty Johantgen, Vice President of Member Services, and Lauren Moffi, Business Applications Manager
Misty Johantgen and Lauren Moffi will discuss the functions and responsibilities of the Orlando CVB’s Business Applications Manager position, and the valuable benefits of having such a job position at a CVB. Topics include responsibilities for Destination 3000 staff training, Member Extranet training, and SMI work order testing and implementation, in addition to account management, staff training, and database and procedural documentation regarding all business applications that are necessary to the operations of a CVB.

On March 4th of this year, SMI and Newmarket International announced a groundbreaking technology partnership. Our integrated offering between D3000 and MeetingBroker enables the direct connectivity between CVBs and suppliers, dramatically improving the convention/meeting lead distribution and response process. During this presentation, we will provide an overview of our new partnership, introduce Newmarket International to our D3000 customers, review the market landscape and key trends which drove our decision to integrate our solutions and will demonstrate the integration between D3000 and MeetingBroker.
