ASP.Net/VB.Net Developer

About the Job

We are searching for an experienced ASP.Net and VB.Net Developer to join our team. This is a permanent full time position. This position will require someone who is extremely client focused and can take the client needs and participate in all aspects of analysis, development, testing and deployment. The ideal candidate must work well in both technical and business environments and enjoy applying their experiences to new challenges.

Requirements:

• Minimum of 3 years of active work experience with ASP.Net, VB.Net
• Minimum of 3 years of active database development experience, MS SQL Server preferred, particularly in the areas of triggers, stored procedures and functions
• Experience developing web applications with ASP.Net, AJAX, and data access layers, a plus
• Experience working with complex CRM applications a plus
• Good background in database administration, database backup/restore, SQL jobs and maintenance plans
• Development with SMTP and web services also a plus
• Experience with source code management systems, prefer Subversion, but not required
• Knowledge and understanding of Windows Server 2008 and Internet Information Services a plus
• Degree or Certification in Computer Information Systems or related field
• Self-Starter with strong analytical skills, able to work independently and manage deadlines with little supervision
• Friendly, team player attitude and able to communicate directly with customers if needed
